The Story
Julius “JuJu” Ballo turned heads as the #1-ranked amateur featherweight in the United States — and he’s carried that momentum straight into the pro ranks, opening his career 4–0 on the sport’s biggest stages. Outside the ropes, he’s a co-founder of G2G Promotions, the San Diego promotion he built with his cousin Jonny Mansour.
Born April 20, 2003 to a Chaldean-American family and raised in East County San Diego, Julius has boxed since age three. A two-time USA Boxing Elite National Champion, Junior Pan American Games gold medalist, and the 2021 USA Boxing Youth Boxer of the Year, he closed his amateur run roughly 51–8 before signing a landmark OTX × Top Rank co-promotional deal.
Trained out of Bomber Squad Academy in El Cajon, he’s known for speed, discipline, ring IQ and explosiveness — now building a premium digital brand that resonates with sports and culture audiences.
